After our original booking was cancelled due to weather, we ended up on another the next day. They never gave up finding the sperm whale. The normal 2-3 hour trip lasted over 4 hours. And it was well worth it!! We also saw 3 different dolphin species and a mink whale. A great adventure and will return to find the hump-backed whales too!!

This is a truely wonderful activity. Sea safari really sets itself apart from its competitors by using the small rubber boats with at most 12 people. This makes it seem like you're are much closer to the whales. We saw 4 sperm whales on our trip!!!

A very great experience! You get very close to the whales with the best guides. In the summer they do bird safari trips. Sea Safari also offer very nice rooms to sleep there.

Great activity to see the whales with the ribbed boats. I had a good time looking at the whales and the impressive mountains around me. Some people got cold and sick. So take some good shoes with you and maybe take something before going on board.

We went there in the second half of June. Our first trip was canceled due to bad weather. In the second trip there were no whales out at sea, one engine broke down, the staff response was adequate. Obviously we couldn't stay for an other trip, we were told they would come with some sort of coupon or proposal but didnt ear from them any more. My suggestion is to evaluate carefully the worthiness of it all because it is a long trip to Andenes (unless you live around), and if you end up unlucky, you have not only lost the money but also one day of your holidays, there is nothing interesting up there. I want to clarify that the low rating is related to the experience in its entirety and not directly related to the company itself, there is always a chance that things go wrong even if somebody says that its almost certain to see the whales.

Totally worth its money, alone the rib boat drive was a really cool expierence. We saw a feeding humpback, an humbling expierence, floating next to a 15 meter giant. If I ever get the chance to go an whale safari again, I will take it.

Awesome Whale-watching event, well out to sea, October 2018. RHIB expertly piloted with skilled use of SONAR to locate while not disturbing the feeding whales. Top quality floatation suits provided and fitted. Skipper kept the RHIB as stable as possible to provide photo opportunities. Highly recommended and very safe for families.
