Exceeded my expectations greatly! I can not fault treehouse stay - it was truly special. Isaac was a great host and on hand whenever we needed. The treehouse has been designed immaculately- and it stays warms and keeps noise out (but we liked the sound of the running river at night!) You definitely need a car to get here as it is a big far out from everywhere, but it is well worth the journey. There is a big supermarket called “kiwi” 15 mins away by car to buy all the necessary things. Cooking is easy in the house as you have a stove and bbq, washing up is a little harder because you need to constantly boil water - but this all added to the charm of the stay. Showers were bucket showers or bush baths which was also great! There is a clean eco toilet to use too. Coming from a big city, this was a welcomed change and trip!
Fantastic nice cabin
Great place. Isaac is a very nice guy, and the skiing is wonderful, if you like steep forested hills. Been there twice and will come back again.
Great Holliday location
Awesome place, visited the place for backcountry skiing. Will definitely come back
First of all: The cabin is picture-perfect, in every meaning of the word! Our breath was taken away by the beautiful architecture and smart solutions. We were four people and it still felt spacious. The location is private, the view is amazing. Especially if you’re one of the lucky people who get to fall sleep in the loft. It’s quite an experience falling asleep to the trees cradle you, looking through the windows in the ceiling. We also took a bath in the river, the cabin is just a few minutes away from a great bathing place. Close to Hardangervidda is also a plus, for those of us who enjoy hiking in the mountains. Isaac is an extraordinary host, always smiling and helpful. His knowledge about the area is worth listening to, and he gives amazing hiking tips. We’re definitly coming back with more friends to Tessungdalen and Å Auge.
Idet vi kommer så var det ikke kjempe lett å få øya på med en gang, men vi fikk geleidet vei av familiemedlem så vi fant fram ganske greit. Parkering var rett ved siden av så det var lett å finne fram til hytta/hyttene. Vi leide den minste men det hadde ingenting å si for oss den første gangen . Hytta var ryddig, alt var tilgjengelig, smarte løsninger på ting og i tillegg fikk vi en omvisning av en veldig hyggelig kar som visst stammet fra Lillehammer men hadde mye slekt oppe i bygda her GOD stemning med levende lys. Utekjøkken eller bålpanne gir en følelse av å være i \skauen\ mitt besøk her var veldig tilfredsstillende og jeg kommer veldig snart igjen for å teste den største hytta enten alene eller med familie eller venner Takk for besøket. Vi kommer igjen!
