Had a wonderful and productive stay at Atelier Austmarka. There is no better way to get to know the Norwegian landscape. It is located near a lot of rich and interesting history. A historic trail is right outside the door, and the city of Kongsvinger, only a bus ride away, is filled with museums and a fortress. The hostess is very encouraging and helpful. They really believe in making the most of your stay while also showing a clear respect for your time and privacy. The town of Austmarka is very rural, beautiful, and friendly. I miss it dearly.

Staying in Atelier Austmarka was very pleasant and inspiring. The quet atmosphere of the studio and it's surroundings can help developing artistic ideas and allow different creative individuals to focus on their work. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the fellow artists were a nice company. I was very glad to get the opportunity to stay and work in Austmarka.
