Nice place, nice people but the facilities are aging and I look forward to their move in the future. But Akvariet still comes highly recommended.

An interesting aquarium, it has many and different species. You can spend two hours here without getting bored. This is perfect for a rainy day. I like that they show the effect of plastic usage on the environments. The price for adults is 285 NOK, the opening hours in winter is 10:00 - 18:00. Check the programs online. There are many interesting programs specially in the morning.

Not worth the time or money. The sea lion was the only nice thing about this trip. There was a very bad smell in the place. The penguins show was very boring. There’s no enough light in the fish tanks. Fish tanks are very dirty. The place is not following COVID-19 restrictions.

It's ok. Not that big. Pretty decent place to visit regardless, money goes to a good cause. Crocs looks a bit sad though

Great aquarium! The penguins even had babies which we got to see. The shark tunnel was cool as well. Loved the otters and the seals!
