It's a nice and cosy place, altough would not recommend if you are looking for an exciting party. It seems to be a place for older groups of people. But the service is nice and the music at a decent volume so you can have a conversation with your friends. One thing to keep in mind at pubs in general here is that you usually order at the bar, so don't make the same mistake of waiting at the table to be served.

Good atmosphere but some of the worst beers I've ever had. Ran and Rodemar. Tastes like a shot of fireball watered down with bud light. None of the perks of each with all the college shame.
Abit crowded. Service was swift and we gor exactly what we wanted even though we were cryptic customers.
Very good selection of wines and beers and excellent service. Sometimes there're even jazz gigs in the old underground \kjeller\!

Wonderful old tavern atmosphere, great wine selection and top shelf service! Nima the best bartender in Bergen.
Nice and cozy place right in the city center with old style robust tree furniture, stearine candles, good beer and live music. A place with history and traditions.
