Great town you can purchase almost any item here. They are also known for their strong tide and whirlpools. If you were on a ship and thinking about the rib safari, it is not worth the price. But you do get to see Salmon farming up close and maybe a whirlpool but your best times for that is during full moon or no moon. This town also has the largest Air Force Base due to proximity to Russia.

This part is strategically located on town of bodo and offers big area for storage inside and outside, ferry terminal and cargo, very busy always with a good peak in spring and summer the port is attended 24/24. The port is very closest to the train station and the town in the radio 400m did you find everything you need the town is a nice big very busy town of the North everything around the port is signposted and places are easily found.
This port is situated just north of the Arctic Circle in the Salt Fjord. The city is very pretty and it's also the windiest city in Norway. Here you get to see the Saltstraumen (world’s strongest tidal current) which is an amazing experience. Lots of tourists come here to experience the Midnight Sun or to catch a ferry going to the Lofoten Islands. Also, this is where people leave for deep sea rafting tours.
Great harbour and a beauty of ice.
Stunning view over the fjord
A stepping off point for all points of interest both in Bodo and the surrounding areas including theawesome Salt stamen maelstrom when the tides are right
