Budget hostel with good Norwegian breakfast included. 4 bed rooms for 750 kr or 275 kr for one person is good value for money. Clean and simple small rooms. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine available. Good wifi.

We stayed at this hostel in August, 2019 as we traveled from Balestrand to Oslo. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hostel overall and with our bedroom and the shared bathroom. The manager of the hostel was friendly and efficient. It was nice to have a kitchen to use and the room rate included a lovely breakfast. It is a short drive from the Borgund stave church (rated as 1 of the top 3 stave churches in Norway). The hostel was easy to find. We would stay here again.
The place is in a simple retro style and so clean and well kept that I can’t get over it. Good breakfast with all the basics. Good price too!
Managed to get about 4 hours of sleep. Stuffy, no blinds in the land of midnight sun and incredibly noisy from about 0430 am. Good breakfast though.
It's been many years since our last hostel experience, and our expectations were low. But this place is clean and we really enjoyed the fine breakfast spread. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, highly recommended!
Nice hostel. The rooms are cleaned daily. The owner and her family run this hostel very professionally and they provide an extensive breakfast every morning. It is location in the middle of nowhere though. If you are by car or just passing by that is no problem since the surroundings are really beautiful. But if you plan to do everything by foot, be aware that everything is quite far away and that the busses don't run that often. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay!

Easy, cheap and very good place for staying if you want to visit the area. Great breakfeast included in the price. The place are not so central so you need car, but it is in middle of a lot of lovely norwegian nature so the possibillities are many.
