Great restaurant off the Scenic Route. We ordered mushroom soup and salmon sandwich. The salmon sandwich was so delicious and fresh, big size, too. However the mushroom soup wad so-so, and a little bit salty for us. Nice staff. Plus the unbeatable view from the window. Definitely worth of spending time and having the lunch that you deserved. 5 stars!

Beautiful, located right at the top, on the highest point of Route 55, it's in the middle of the Jotunheimen National Park. Best location for glaciers, tundra, rocks and lakes lovers. My heart is there amongst the mountains and the beautiful nature. Very good food, best vegetarian food, view on the lake and mountains. Super ice personell
Great place to stay! They really nailed the food for dinner and breakfast. The staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are old but with charm and comfortable beds. The toilets and showers are also quite old, but where clean. The outdoor area is great for kids too. Would definitely go back !
Everything about this place is amazing. The place, the food, the views, but the best part is the staff here so nice. They have gone out of their way many times just to help me out and be nice during my short stay here. One day, I was out hiking for too long and accidentally missed dinner, so without me asking they gave me much appreciated food even though the kitchen had long since closed. I could not imagine a better place.
We were promised a vegetarian alternative for dinner when we made our reservation but got served only the accessories to the main course without anything in addition, very disappointing.. Otherwise a very nice place but not to recommend for vegetarians, vegans or people with food intolerances.
So beautiful surroundings and really cool arcitecture, perfect for relaxing and having a beer/drink or just coffee. Didńt eat here so cant say anything about the food. They also have some artcollection of paintings illustrating the landscape if you want to buy, probably local artist that can put them out, cool! Many trails nearby to walk for hours, breathtaking views everywhere, even for me whos a Swede!
This is a very good place to stay before wandering into Jotunheimen. Very friendly service, decent food and a nice mountain view.
