Nice, clean, friendly. But spending one night I March 2021, the room was a little cold(15 c). The hole area is very nice, nice views. Very good breakfast. But I really missed egg and Bacon and beans(the only eggs they had was boiled)

Very nice place. Good food. Wonderful views from the dining hall. I have only been sleeping here once in one of the sleeping halls for one night before embarking on a skiing trip. Standard Norwegian tourist association accomodation. They also have single, double and family rooms and some other special offers for accommodation, I have never tried them. The breakfast was great and there was also the option to prepare lunch to bring for the trip of the day. I would highly recommend this place as a stopover to eat, as a resting place when passing by foot or ski, or as a basecamp for exploring the surrounding mountain terrain on day trips.

Quaint mountain Lodge slightly more than an hour away from Troltunga with sparsely furnished rooms but an excellent Cafe and bakery. A great rest stop to spend the night, eat well and recharge in preparation for your hike up Troltunga. They even have a small shop that sells hiking/ camping supplies and accessories in case you forgot to bring anything. Of special note is the reindeer stew from the restaurant, which is a must try if you happen to be staying there. 3.5 stars out of 5.

Sometimes the perfect place for a break from driving with a fabulous view and a really good restaurant appears at just the right time. And this is the place. There is a good selection in the restaurant, including vegetarian meals, and for those who just want a snack there is a bakery. There are walks around the area and it is a centre for so much more. The frozen lake was just starting to thaw and the view was spectacular. We weren't staying for winter sports, just the meal and to stretch our legs but we will go back.
