Very nice location with a lot of local history and culture. You can make a walk on norways biggest river Glomma and visit the våtmarksenter

It was really nice taking a walk in this area, with a musem nearby that showcase the history to this place, which is known for timber floating. It is the only preserved of this type in the world. You can escape from the City life coming here and have some nice waffles and tea/coffee/cocoa at the visiting center I can't wait to come back when it is summer. Even though the area is known for having a lot of mosquitos
