There is pretty nice place for family, but if you expected to see a lot of bears, then it's not the case. Despite the name there are only 4 bears with 2 bears been feeding 2 times a day for show. The rest are crocodiles, reptiles, turtles, wolfs and foxes, etc. But just a few of each. It seems like more small zoo instead of just a bear park. Nevertheless several playgrounds are taking kids attention for whole day.

It's an entirely different way of seeing an animal park. The animals are in a more open and natural space. Besides, the animal's guardians are very kind and explain everything in Norwegian and English. You should consider arriving early, to observe the activities that they have in different locations, I would recommend following the whole program, all it is included. And you should consider that the schedule changes according to the season of course. Fox feeding is fantastic.

Fantastic place with lots of animals to see. There is a good schedule with many activities that are fun for both kids and adults.
Nice experience not like a usual zoo. Animal enclosures are relatively large providing space to roam around. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall fun experience.
Nice park, but a lot of hills. Some trails are quite steep, you have to have very good hicking shoes. Also it is fun on a sunny day, when it rains there is not much shelter.
Lovely place to go with kids. Very crowded, but still a fun place to visit.
family friendly, there are moments hard to climb with the stroller. Kids are super happy anyways!
