Stayed here twice. Loved the location, cabin and staff. You could hike to nearby mountain or a short trekk to nearby waterfall.

Very good view nice house and quiet place to relax
We love the cabin is directly facing the fjord, excellent view, quaint, clean and it has all the necessary: kitchenette, ensuite bathroom (tho a bit dated), living & dining area, coffee maker, electronic kettle, decent free wifi connection, 3 heaters and good insulation to keep you warm. Dislike? 1. Slippy and dated bathroom. 2. Narrow beds. 3. Pay extra for linen and towels. 4. Very narrow road /parking.
The Location, It is one of best view room we had during our norway trip. Owner suggested to upgrade our booked cabin for small price to cabin 16, which had direct, wide view of Geirangerfjord. It is 20 min (3km) drive down to place where all the cruise of Geirangerfjord will start. just 20-30 min drive up form the place will be skywalk location. (which was closed during our stay due to snowfall). There are waterfall around you can see. We regret that we had booked only one night at this place. Having cleaning and towels as separate services. We paid for towels separately and selected to clean the stuff by our self. however dishes were not cleaned well enough when we want to use them. So had to clean them before and after use. Wifi was not working, informed 2 times to owner and he promised will be fixed by 30 min. however was not fixed until we left next day.

From our cabin, we have a perfect view on the Fjord. In the cabin are 2 rooms, both of them are modern. The habour of Geiranger can be reached by foot in 20-30 min( depanding on route selecting).
The accommodation was fine, clean and basic, with a small balcony overlooking the view, convenient to Geiranger. I paid for linens online ahead of time. When we checked in, they confirmed that we wanted linens, but never gave them to us. We got into our room past 9pm, so only realized they never left the linens until after the office was closed. I went back to the cabin office in the morning to let them know that we never got our linens. They gave us cash back, but unknowingly to me, gave it to me in the old Norwegian currency, which I later discovered was no longer legal tender. I tried to use the money they gave me in a bakery near the ferry embarking, but was refused and told that "they shouldn't have given that to you." I tried using the cash on the ferry but was told the same thing and was asked who gave this to me, this time with an eye roll and a comment "They should not have given this to you." Clearly, the people at the Hole Cabin Rental should have known better. The deadline for moving to the new currency was known by everyone in town. I am giving Hole Cabin Rental a 1 star review because they not only failed to make sure we had our linens, but when they gave us our money back, they gave us cash that was worthless that they clearly knew was worthless. I wouldn't go back and recommend that you don't stay there either.
