Stayed a week in the magic surroundings. Place your tent on the riverbed and take in the views. Small enough to not feel crowded, yet big enough to have all the necessary and useful facilities and equipment. New buildings are being built 2019 to provide more showers, toilets and laundry room for guests. Has kitchen, power outlets and canoe rental. Suitable for RVs, tents and has one apartment for rent. Close to great hikes.

Nice place to stay by the fjord. The kitchen could be better with some more equipment, so if you want to cook your food here bring your own cooking ware. The personnel is welcoming and very helpful. It is possible to rent canoe here.
This is the camping you have been looking for. Located in an amazing and remote fjord situated right on the edge. Olaf and his wife are very nice and will help you with all the activities they offer; Kayaking, renting a boat to spot dolphins. Also, a very pretty (and challenging) hike starts right at the campsite and will bring you rugged plateaus, wild waterfalls en frozen mountain lakes. Toilets and showers are very clean and up to date.
Definitely the best camping we've been to in Norway. One of a kind!!! You can enjoy best views at the fjord. Highly recommended. Hosts are also super friendly and eager to help.
Very beautiful campground location with very friendly owners/hosts. It's amazing to be camping smack in the middle of a Unesco Fjord! The tent site is only a few steps away from where you can park, and there are carts available to move your stuff over. The kitchen and sanitary facilities are very good and recently built/updated. One very minor point is that it would have been nice if the camp hosts had a bit more information on activities in the area (including pricing), for example info on local kayak rental and the ferry. We had a great stay and will definitely come back here again.
This is one of the cutest little camping sites I have ever stayed at. The small little village is totally cute and and you are in the middle of the UNESCO Heritage of Nærøyford. A place like in a picture book.
Very friendly owner & excellent service. Quiet and calm place with great outlook. Modern and clean kitchen, toilette and bathroom (interim solution that others refer to got very nicely replaced!) Make sure to do a reservation.
Beautiful campingsite at Bakka by the UNESCO listed Nærøyfjord. Amazing view of the fjord, superfriendly and serviceminded owners and clean and modern facilities. Best place we have stayed so far Be sure to try the waffles with homemade jam and sour cream
