I am a local and this is the first place I visit when I need something Electronic. They have great selection, clean and orderly setup. The staff are for well trained, helpfull and know their stuff. If I have to point at one thing they could improve, it is that their staff monitor customers in particular places much more than a few. Seems like they focus on their more expencive products like Phones, TV's and such and that result in more niche products getting less cover. So if you for instance have questions about a PC mouse. you will have to go find someone. Other than that, it is a very good shop!

Pre ordered a remote, got a text the next day that said they tried to call me, but I had no call from them. Tried to call back and no answer. So I figured I would take the 30 minute drive and pick up the remote. When I get there I have to get a distracted employee that’s busy with some mounting of a gaming chair stirring in a corner on the floor. Try to explain the situation and is misunderstood. Try again, but when he checks the computer he doesn’t find my order. After 10 minutes he finally tried to call the coworker that sent me the text. They try to find the remote in the store, but no luck. Then they say there is one in another location, I ask them to get it for me. I was then told it would be an extra shipping fee. I told them to order it anyway, because I need a remote. Was told I would be called back when they know more. 2 weeks later and still no call. Most disappointing experience in this type of shop.

I am from California, USA and was visiting friends in the Hønefoss area. I stopped by POWER Hønefoss to pick up a couple of small items and was very impressed by the selection of items available. This store compares very favorably with the selection available in Best Buy in the US and is even better in some areas. The staff were helpful without being overbearing and allowed me to browse without feeling uncomfortable. They also did not laugh at my broken attempts at Norwegian. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for electronics or electrical equipment for the home or office visit here first.
