Very nice little fortress from about 1680. Its possible to spend the night at the fortress hotel, eat and drink at the cafe. Enjoying the view over the Glomma valley and surrounding forrest. The restaurant boasts and amazing wine cellar and staff is very friendly
Its the best visiting place in Kongsvinger .you can watch the importance of such a fort when u take city View from the fortress.
