It says their open only until 4 pm but we ordered car pick up at 6 pm, so we were bit concerned at the time of pick up, but then the guy from Avis arrived and we had such a great experience! We had a nice talk, recommendations and the full service so as the car was in great conditions. Best car rental experience!!!

These guys ripped me off for 300 worth of insurance. They told me the charge was 40/day and proceeded to charge me 115/day. What a scam! Avis is off my list of rental cars from now on. I'd advise anyone landing in Leknes to choose another rental company.
Good service, they are at the airport 7 in the morning to rent out cars, no need to pre-order. OK prices
Beware! We had the worst experience at this location. They overcharged us by almost 3 times! Avis customer service is absolutely unprofessional-can't explain where the charges coming from and just hang up or transfer to nonexistent number after giving nonsense explanation that contradicts the receipt. So far I spoke to 4 representatives and got 4 different reasons. Avoid at all cost!!!
This is be best Avis rent a car I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. Vegard and Oona both helped me rent a car from Nusfjord after I realized there is no public transportation to that location, and they were flexible on where I left the car on the islands (Moskenes, in order to take the ferry). Oona gave great recommendations on what to do during my few days in Lofoten, and Vegard went out of his way to help me make transportation arrangements with limited time on the islands. Best Avis ever. Thanks Vegard and Oona!
