Sudanese Human Rights Activists (SHRA) is an international non-governmental, non-religious, non-ethnic and non-political organization. Its statute states that “The head office will be in Oslo, Norway with the right to establish branches all over the world”. The organization is, in general, concerned about human rights; particularly human rights violations that take place in Sudan. The main purpose is to study and research in these violations and to work to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Sudan. Essential tasks are monitoring and reporting of ongoing human rights abuses, reporting violations regarding various human rights aspects, providing assistance to victims and training of field activists and cooperators.
