Great museum of the Battle of Narvik.

I like the first half of the museum very much, displays are very informative and visually fantastic, the second half made no sense at all, it got all Pink Floyd and never explained its self, around 10 entry, I would not go back.
Narvik has a unique story. Hitler's first major loss was here. The city was very important for several nations, due to the iron ore. The museum has three floors that tell stories of war and the humanitarian aspect of a war. It is by far, Norway's best war museum.
Superb museum, very well done! The only thing worth going to Narvik.
Museum and library. Nice area for picnic but we Visited during winter so snow is everywhere
A compact but excellent museum with some very educative graphics. The small collection of artifacts work well with the larger exhibits and the WWII history of the town is clearly and well and fairly described in both Norwegian and English. There is a small store, a cafe and an excellent multi-lingual library. A highly recommended visit!
Nice stop, very interesting, 10 euro student entrance
Having read as much as I could on the 1940 battles in Narvik I eagerly anticipated this visit. The displays were well done and provided great visuals to the written information. Everything was available in English. The gift shop did have several publications in English as well. The last section of the display hit me as slightly strange. There are good actors and bad actors in the world and even though the victors get to write the history, there is still right and wrong and the compelling thought that good will ultimately triumph over evil.
