Quiet place with outstanding view to the fjords. Few kilometers from Norheimsund, where you can find all services you need (groceries, dinning places etc.) Camping public shower and toilets. Also has boat rental. Camper parking just 2 meters from the sea. Electricity for tents and campers also available for additional cost.

Loved it. Beautiful wood cabin with bathroom, bedroom and lounge in secluded location overlooking Hardanger Fjord. Brilliant way to start our holiday and just over 1 hour from Bergen airport by hire car.

Fantastic campsite, owners are german but also speak very good English and obviously Norwegian. Also have boat hire which is highly recommended, a small boat ride away is a narrow fjord with no towns, villages or roads next to it. Really amazing to discover yourself with a rented boat. Campsite also has a small kitchen with stove, washing facilities and decent showers.

Magnificent view over the Hardangerfjord! Quite crowded place, atleast during the season. Cozy little place with reasonable prices.

We had a perfect day renting a boat to go fishing. Great and helpful owners plus the bot was amazing. Must see in Norway!

Plus: It has a good location. We stayed in a wooden house which is not at the beach but on the other side of the road, high above the fjord. The wooden house was nice, equipped with a fridge, and all kitchen wares. Inside everything was made of wood. It was very quiet. We could park our car almost next to the house (for free). They have bed linentowels, but we had to pay extra money. Two cities/villages are nearby, one just on the other side of the short tunnel to the east and the other one to the west (a bit more far away). The one on the east has an Esso petrol station which offers 98 octan fuel :). Norheimsund (to the west) has a beach with free parking. We swam in the fjord; water was a bit cold, air temperature was around 28 Celsius (in July). Bergen is 1,5 hours drive, Flam was about 2-2,5 hours drive (roads are quite narrow in the area which makes travel longer). The staff at the reception was very nice and friendly. The camping has its own beach as well - we did not try as we were a bit separated in the house. Minus: The house is a bit too small for 5 people. The beds were a bit too narrow and short. At least people learn how to be tidy if you stay longer :) Actually, it had everything, just a little bit too small. The house had a bit of bad smell; something old or dusty.
