Good food, service and view
Lots of history and sentiment, boring facilities
The hotel room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel breakfast and lunch staff was very unaccommodating and they are not willing to meet your dietary requirements. Even after specifically requesting food made without milk weeks before arrival the only alternative was salad. Just salad. No oils or dressings without milk either. Unless you eat at the restaurant, if you have special dietary requirements (milk, vegan, etc): Bring your own food!
We went to the island off season and it was very quiet. We walked up to the hotel to see if they could serve us food. All they had available was the staff food and they were happy to help us. The food was amazing. Maybe the best food we had all week in Oslo. Many thanks to the staff and the hotel for looking after us without booking, off season.
A really unique location and hotel. Even though the standard of the rooms is lower than common, it is part of the charm. There are many fun activities and I hope to get to test what seemed like an escape room another time
Nice hotel and restaurant in a beautiful location.
Nice clean room. Not a 5 since no coffee in room or fridge.
