Well I went to visit a friend over there. Had short interaction with the Staff, they were very helpful. The rooms are quite large & the stay is very reasonable for short term & students. The passage area is also well maintained & residents are friendly as well. Joker grocery shop is within the building so you get everything.

Cheap accommodation in Oslo. Not in the city center. No breakfast. You have to bring your own bedsheets and towels. Otherwise you can use theirs with payment addition. There's a kitchennette in the room. Bring your own kitchen utensils or borrow them. The room is broad. The lobby also spacious and modern. Internet is slowly. Got to lobby to have better connection. There's also a mini market next to lobby. Selling fresh and non-fresh foods.

I really liked this place! The staff are really friendly and are always willing to help and provide guidance. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean and the property is very well maintained. The kitchen is massive and utensils can be lent from the reception by leaving a small security deposit. However, all the rooms in this place has day sleepers and it’s difficult to manage without disturbing them even a little- during the day the day sleepers sleep and during the night- the rest do! So the lights in the room can never really be switched off which is a little bit annoying. Other than that, everything about this place is good!

Highly cost efdectiveand feel safe. It is a mixed apartment with students as well as vacationing families. It is spartan and there is a small charge of approx five pounds for bedding. The beds are basic but comfortable. Very good shower and soap is provided in dispensers. There is also a charge for towels it was similar to the sheets but that I cannot recall. The room was self catering with a two burner hob sink and grill. There was not a microwave. You leave a deposit for a box of crockery and a pan or two. This was a little tricky as we did not bring any cash ....but they were happy to take an ID or English money as they just put this in a safe place. There is a somewhat integrated shop and you are allowed to buy from there and consume in the spacious lobby. You can get booze at the bar the beer is reasonably cheap at about six quid a half litre. Wine was a silly price. Overall a very reasonable place to stay and allows you to cope with the high cost of other things!. The Irish pub nearby has great fish and chips and similar pricing for booze. And in town there is an Indian restaurant with a ten quid buffet at lunch time which is about half what you would pay elsewhere. Coffee is cheap in the small supermarkets often around 1.50 and is usually good. The biggest but best investment was the Oslo Pass if you use this heavily it will save you a small fortune. It gives free travel on zones 1 & 2 which covers pretty much all travel around key parts of town and entry to the majority of key museums. Do take the ferry if you can which is also included to or from the Kontiki museum. You can go by bus but the ferry give a glimpse of the Harbour. We are struggling to get everything done in 3 full days... So do bear that in mind. Overall the Banker worked perfectly and is near busses and Trams. Do walk down to the river by the art college. The weir there is spectacular..
