I'm generally happy with the food here & the service is fine. If you want your steak a little more than medium grilled, cross off both medium & the next one up on the list. Then they make it medium Pepper steak is really good, with a nice spicy Mexican style sauce & lots of corn. Nice seating and nice view from some tables. Noisy/chatty diner style atmosphere, so it's not for romantic dinners, but fun with family or friends:)
Not exactly authentic Norwegian cuisine but the menu is good for the meat eater and the steaks and burgers were very good. The service and friendly atmosphere were superb. Highly recommended spot.
Stake is perfect! Side dishes are also very tasty, staff is always nice and welcoming. I would recommend it to all meat lovers.

Stay away from this one! We were out for a family dinner. I got suspicious when the starter arrived, the “combo”,, the saddest looking chicken wings, onion rings and prawns, served on a messy plate. Then I got my sirloin steak. I had asked for medium rare and I got a really well done steak covered with this flavor enhancing MSG spice that does not belong in any professional kitchen . The waiter and maître d’ was polite and kind enough, and they took it back and came back with another piece of meat. It had barely touched the grill, refrigerator cold inside and only slightly colored on the outside. I thought it was a joke and I looked towards the kitchen to see if the “chef’s“ were standing there looking at me and laughing. The waiter graciously told me that I did not have to pay for the uncooked meat, hooray… Our evening was ruined. I believe this is the worst dining experience I have had in Norway, very rare to see this level of poor craftsmanship, and poor service.
