A great museum in a working cinema! I think it’s free? At least I didn’t see anywhere to buy a ticket... The writing in museum is unfortunately all in Norwegian so it’s not the best for tourists, but I don’t really think it’s aimed at tourists. There is a guide in English though. There are some really nice exhibits, including a few interactive ones based on the early stages of cinema. Well worth 30 minutes of your time!

Ok place for morning gathering. Weak on break snack operations

very nice cinema, comfortable seats and also showing old classics

Enjoyed a great showing of \It's a wonderful life\, played on original reels rather than the digital version of the movie. I recommend this place to people who love movies.

Must go. One of the places in Oslo where you feel that you have to visit every month.

Fantastic cinema. A bit expensive for the bigger movies but you know how it is. People gotta eat. Even has a public bathroom, big pluss in my book.

Pros: Relatively cheap tickets Comfortable seats They don't show a bunch of trailers and ads before the movie. Cons: - TOO LOUD!!! - Not possible to choose where to sit, whoever comes early gets the best seats - You have to stand outside and wait in a huge line til they let you in just before the movie starts. So even if you come early, you'll have to stand and wait. - They don't turn on the lights or open the doors when the captions start. So you either sit and watch the white letters on the black background, or try to find your way out in the darkness.

Great place for good films, they even show films on popular request... prices are very good, makes it possible to go to the cinema multiple times a week even on a low budget. Nice bar there too, possible to bring alcoholic beverages into the movie theatre. Feeling for a cultural and intellectual injection one night? Go there
