Similar to so many other comments : any damage will be quoted and billed to the customer to the full amount, not for a repair but a full replacement of the part. A small paint chip could be fixed with a simple paint pen but they will charge you the full replacement of the body part. Local employees are nice and helpfull, though. It's just Europcar has this practice and policy when it comes to damages ... it's probably Europcar linked to the insurance company : together they will make a lot of money out of you. I highly doubt any other rental company would be better and Nabobil cannot be trusted (I had too many rentals being cancelled because of fake \the car needs to go to the garage\).

Hi every one, Not 1 but ZERO STAR actually. Never rent a car from this company. We had a very bad experience with renting a car for our trip. They wanted to charge us 2000 NOK due to a scratch on the rim which is not caused by us. Luckily, I recorded everything with my camera and I have a video shows that the scratch was already there and we are fighting to them. It's not a money problem but their service. UPDATE: They passed our case to the customer service department and we got their apology and paid nothing for this. Nothing to be happy for, this is just our right :) So remember to record everything, every single scratch if you have no choice but EuropCar.
Worst company ever! They even charged for a tiny tiny... really tiny scratch on the wheel rim for more then 850 euro that it was there from before, I'm sure! Zero professional honesty I wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy!!! Don't go there or your poket will be lost!!! Actually it's infinitestars
Like others said it has been the worst experience ever. Do not rent from this company!! They charged me a large sum (kr 8.400) on finding a hidden little scratch at back right rim.
We had a good overall experience here. We got a nice car, employee was friendly and after we dropped off the car, the deposit was refunded pretty quickly and we did receive a very transparent and detailed bill for additional toll stations that were exceeding the amounts included in the toll package. The only thing we were not so happy about was that when we went to pick up the car, the office was badly staffed and there was just one employee for the paper work in the office and the same person was also giving out the cars in the garage. Despite the fact that there were only two parties in front of us, we waited over an hour for the car.
Bunch of thiefs out after just money... 0 customer service. went for a \quick\ rental car at Europcar (pickup Viken - delivery gardermoen) BIG MISTAKE 1. The car had so much damage it took 25 minutes to check out. 2. I had to say no to inssurance atleast five times. 3. It costs extra money (300kr!) to get a reciept for bompenger. Unless you pay for a \package\ 4. I forgot something important in the car, they didnt bother sending me a mail/calling me. They just brought it to Airport lost and found, where you have to pay 100kr to get it back. How hard is it to just call or try call.... These sort of companies should not be allowed to opperate in Norway...
Do not rent from these guys. It’s a scam. They rent out “cheap” with a business model to charge customer large sums for damages based on finding hidden scratches under the car, on wheels, tires, etc. They notify you afterwards and will not allow you to have an independent party apprise the damages. If you rent anyway, buy excess insurance from a third party and photo/document everything before driving off. Watch out for hidden fees!
Plus: i liked the service ( have to wait little bit while collecting the vehicle but not much) and got another Vehicle ( it was good so i don't mind) i recommend to buy full protection as i did (for completely peace of mind) Cons: Child Seat ( quality is bad ) i tried two child seat they provide. both didn't fit so i have to use seat belt method Overall i find it good
