Recently, I have been receiving a lot of unsolicited emails from finn.no, so I wanted to change this and to unsubscribe but there is no 'unsubscribe' option at the end of their emails so I have tried to reply to their original email. I was advised to log in and to edit my email preferences. I do not have any memory of creating an account on finn.no but I was able to log in finally however everything was in Norwegian, while I do not speak Norwegian. Then I have tried to contact directly on the website a chat operator to remove my account because I had difficulty to do it myself in Norwegian language and that I did not subscribe for any services. I got the response that I had to do it myself or that I had to provide an abundance amount of personal data,which I was not willing to provide because I have never provided it to the site before either. After leaving the support chat which was good for nothing, I have managed to change the language settings on my profile and to unlink the finn.no services from my schibsted account. But I do not believe this is how support is supposed to treat people and I never subscribed for the service. My date of birth on the profile was 1900,so even if I had provided my real personal data, nothing would have come of it. I am surprised to see that this is supposed to be a reputable company.
