Really nice grocery store & cafe. Fantastic selection of organic and local, as well as all sorts of specialty products (even Kombucha tea!). Wonderful pit stop when you want something extra healthy/specific while waiting at Oslo S for your train or just hanging with friends or a laptop. Popular to bring kids & strollers here. This whole area/food court in "Østbanehallen" has been renovated & looks great now.

The melted sandwiches ar excelent. Better than Steam Sandwich Bar just outside. A quiet and hidden place to sit down inside back in the store.

You can enjoy a coffee, snack, dessert at reasonable prices and lovely service, right at central Station.

Wide selection of international food in one nice place. Good for a quick stop when you're at the station.

What earns them this low rating is their café - the food is old (yes, they were chatting about how many days ago the different types of sandwiches were made when I stopped by today!!) and the coffee is awful. I ordered a tomato-Mozzarella-balsamic reduction sandwich today, wanting something simple and fresh. Turns out they grill everything like a panini, so I ended up with a burnt, tasteless bread soaked through with balsamic reduction, warm, soggy tomatoes and melted mozz. They were too busy chattering to inform me of this... I guess a two day old sandwich needs to be grilled.

Good place to go for a quick snack and soft drink or coffee if you like.
