Entry into this preserved heritage park was slightly expensive *(average Norwegian price), but still worth it if you plan to spend at least a few hours touring the park. The wooden church is the highlight of the park for obvious reasons, though there are plenty of other sites to check out nearby.

Highly recommend! The church is incredibly beautiful. It is part of the Norway folk museum.

An interesting place, cool piece of history but not spectacular inside. (It is on museum grounds so you have to pay to get in btw)

A beautiful little piece of Norwegian cultural history, it was a real treat to get to see this.

Beautiful stave church and very well maintained. The history of the location alone is well worth the detour from central Oslo. The runic graffiti inside is a very special thing to see up close and there is something truly special about being inside such a historic building. Stop reading and go see it - you will not regret it.

An amazing heritage of craftsmanship. The whole park with its collected houses used as a museum is very nice. It's also something for kids in different age, there are a lot of things to climb in and found in the old houses.

This wooden church is part of the open air museum, a must see attraction while visiting Oslo. It's beautiful inside and out, small in size but with a lot of soul and old nordic style. When we visited the Stave church there were young people, museum employees, dressed in traditional Norwegian style answering questions and welcoming the visitors.
