Interesting art installation. You need to get very close to see it. Very detailed work.

Amazing monument and not everyone knows about it. So it's a must visit place when you come to Oslo. Spend some time and pay attention to how beautiful and detailed the work is. It's amazing and I love it
One of many amazing Oslo sculptures. There are many of people of different races, wearing various clothes, doing different things. They are of different sizes, from tiny heads only to bigger ones. Some of them are between stones, some hold tiles. You can walk on the heads of these people or simply watch and take photos. I didn’t find any profound explanation of what exactly this is ).
Grass Roots Square was created by Korean-American artist Do Ho Suh. Some pavers in the square have been removed and replaced by tiny bronze statues, 50 thousand of them in total, ranging in height from 8-10cm. They’re standing together, interacting, and some of them are sharing the weight of paving stones. The project was designed and approved before the terror attacks 2011, but somehow that makes the little people standing together in solidarity seem all the more poignant. Grass Roots Square is located in the government quarter, a short distance from the office block targeted in the 2011 attacks.
Very interesting, ART
A unique experience. Tucked away in a corner street, one must make an effort to reach this pleasant surprise. A hidden jewel in the otherwise uninspiring government quarter.
Interesting piece of art!
Popular place for your training and competition.
