Great place to hike or go skiing to. Awesome views and like on these pictures downtown Oslo was covered by fog and pretty miserable, but up here; sunny and clear skies! Its definitely not the cheapest place to buy a coke and a chocolate...

Just a little outside of the city but above it with stunning view and great vibes. The restaurant always offers something worthwhile to visit and usually changing with the season.
Absolutely amazing experience at Grefsenkollen restaurant. No wonder this place had high ratings and reviews on Google Maps. Often restaurants with a great view like this would only \sell\ the view and have mediocre food. But here, you get amazing food as well. Looking at snowy forests and city with a fireplace burning by your side, and you get to taste pizza with a Norwegian twist. I had Bukkene Bruse which is a name of a Norwegian folktale of sheep and Reinsdyr (reindeer) pizza. It was a fantastic choice. There is also an outdoor Cafe with Norwegian waffles with jam, cream, and brunost. It's perfect to have a coffee and dessert here afterwards. I would definitely take my friends and family to show what a Norwegian restaurant is.

Amazing location, beautiful ambiance and super delicious food. It is on top of Oslo and you can enjoy the breathtaking view while having your meals. The ambiance changes with different time of the day and different time of the year. There are places outside where you can sit and enjoy the view on a cold dark night with firepits and blankets provided free of charge.
