I've been waiting decades for a British store to open in Norway, and finally, Iceland came to my rescue. They carry several of my facourite brands of British foods and snacks. The prices are not unreasonable, considering this the exotic import, and I am thrilled to be shopping here.

Lovely supermarket with great quality food. Very cozy and modern atmosphere. The prices are OK, in some cases more expensive than traditional chains, but many times much better deals than in conventional stores. Lots of plant-based options and fresh produce and bakery too. Great variety of snacks and ready meals, some organic too. The supermarket doesn't have its own parking, but it is possible to find a spot around the streets around (paid)

Really great for finding British grocery items or just something different if you are tired of the selection in Norwegian supermarkets. Lots of frozen pre-made food items like pastries, ready meals or desserts, but also great for intermediate ingredients like frozen pre-chopped onions, garlic, peppers, chillies and ginger, which helps reduce food waste if you only need a small amount of each ingredient at a time.

Fantastic frozen-food supermarket in central Oslo. There is a great range of british cuisine for reasonable prices (though not as good as Iceland's UK prices). There is a good range of ready-meals, pizza, fish, meat, bread as well as ice-cream and candy. The staff are helpful, and the shop is nice and modern.
