Lovely atmosphere, but a completely chaotic management. None of the waiters know anything about the show, no one will tell you what the evening's plan is for music or bellydancing, and you might end up sitting for 2 hours waiting for the show or 30 minutes for a beer, all the while you're being told "yes yes, 5 minutes!"

Good food but they will nickel and dime you... Ordered wine and got the customary glass of water, 25 kr each, really? Ordered another kebab skewer... 99 kr. You get the whole course for 149kr... Are you kidding me?! I really dislike the style.
Being Turkish, and a huge fan of Turkish Cusine, my expectations were very high when I first entered Konak Restaurant in Oslo. The interior was well lit and cozy and reminiscent of old historical places in turkey. The smiling faces of the waiters and their attentiveness and soft ethnic background music gave a good overall impression from the start. But things changed when we got the food. Yes, to the even better! I had just come back from Turkey and had been eating my dear mothers cooking and also at some very good restaurants... But I was so very impressed with the food I got at Konak... I can hardly find words. It was just perfect for me. They also had some Turkish beer which always makes me happy. Didnt have dessert becase i was too full but i bet it matches the quality of everyhting else. The Turkish Coffee is amazing too... So yeah... Im usuly a notorious critique when it comes to Turkish food outside of Turkey and my mothers kitchen but i must say i was very happy with Konak. I give them 9 out of 10... only because there just MUST have been something i missed : )
Var her med samboeren for et par uker siden. Veldig god service, og absolutt god mat også. Kommer til å dra tilbake, og kan anbefale dette stedet videre uten problem! :)
Meget dårlig mat og elendig service. Vi har aldri spist dårlig tyrkisk mat. Jeg er blitt dårlig etter å ha spist par biter. Maten ble servert etter 45 min. Enda var vi alene i lokaler. Meget dårlig utbytte for valuta.
Anbefales ikke. En eier/daglig leder full av fordommer!
Fin service. Spendene smaker. Og spessiel stemming. Men. Lang vente tid på maten. Samt litt Hart kjøtt. Men det er vert det for og smake mye nytt. PS. Branalarmene var malt over. Vet ikke om det er spessielt lurt eller ikke.
