Service ok, Interior beautiful. The food was of mediocre quality, some how \coocke yesterday\ type of taste. Prices very stiff to the portions and quality of taste you paid for.

Our first visit to Kos Kos. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff took very good care of us even though we were just a couple who hadn’t booked in advance while there were large groups of people already seated and still more coming in on this Saturday evening. This restaurant has excellent service-minded staff, pleasant layout of this cellar restaurant with charming rock walls. There is a very nice selection of lovely Lebanese cuisine. Each and every dish was prepared with great attention to flavor detail. We selected 5 starters and a singular main course, which we requested that all 6 dishes arrive at the same time. Our wine selection (two glasses of the house Red) arrived promptly after it was ordered along with potable drinking water. Just the right amount of time later, did our meals arrive. So beautifully presented on the various plates. Each dish was from heaven. The vegetarian dishes were brilliantly executed. The grilled lamb was of high quality, juicy, tender, adequately seasoned and grilled to perfection. The dessert, the baklava, looked so tasty when served that we just dived right in, forgetting to photograph it until it was too late and the gorgeous dessert was all gone into a a blissful state of nirvana. Should you go to Kos Kos ? What! you’ve not been there already ? Kos Kos is downright one of most phenomenal restaurants in Oslo. Go there by yourself, as a couple or as a large group, and you will leave having experienced one of the best valued culinary experiences Oslo has to offer.

At first the location in the basement seems a bit shady, but the tasty authentic Lebanese food and good service made this a great experience. We (2 persons) ordered a mix of 8 mezze dishes chosen by the chef. The hummus and grilled paprika were delicious
