Just bought a very expensive reMarkable2. Received it and did the setup procedure and so far everything was good. Problem was/is that the marker doesn’t work at all. I can press menu buttons with my fingers, but the marker is totally unresponsive. I have read all FAQs and tried all the tricks I can find but still no response and hence no notes nor value. I managed to find a contact form to customer support (which by the way is very difficult) and sent in my request, and also got an email in return confirming my inquiry and I would hear back from them soon. Three weeks later I have not heard anything from them, and my device is still useless... I haven’t found any other way to contact reMarkable to get help with my issue. My recommendation is to stay away from this company and their products - my experience has been very costly and frustrating. Update: after two weeks I sent a reminder on my issue and actually got a response a couple of days later with advice to change the tip on the marker (pretty much the same wording as on their web page). So, I tried again, and ended up buying a new set of overpriced tips from them. After replacing tip several times it still doesn't work. A few days ago I sent a new reminder that my device still doesn't work, but so far no response from their customer service ...

Be careful, this company is broken and will let you stranded if there's an issue with your tablet. I've been waiting for weeks for a working RM1 tablet. Delays are inexplicably long. Customer support is mostly useless. The product itself might be good, but it isn't worth the risk of having to deal with broken business.

Product is great Support is inexistant Impossible to even ask a question. No response on any social network Even worse that any random Chinese company. It’s incredible So i recommend their device but wish you good luck if you have an issue

The product may be great but I really don’t know. After months of waiting I received it and the marker is not writing. Costumer service does not reply other then we’ll get back to you and providing links to the site (which I had already browsed for a solution). Don’t know what else to do. Trying to get someone to contact me in every means possible (social media/email, as no phone is available) update: After my long wait, I finally got a replacement and it is now working great! Fingers crossed it will stay like this!

I love my Remarkable 2, which I got after many months of waiting for my batch to come around. I use the pro stylus with the eraser at the end. The device has worked really well, in spite of somewhat of a rough start: a week after receiving my device, I pulled it out of its sheath and the screen was cracked after just walking a few blocks with the device in my hand. Getting the device replaced took time too. However, the process is AMAZING and I can think of many companies who could (should) proceed the same way: Remarkable shipped a brand new device free of charge and I was able to keep my (functional) cracked device until the new one arrived. I then had a little more time to schedule a pick-up appointment with DHL for them to pick up my defective device, also free of charge. Keep doing what you've been doing!

Great product, reMarkable 2, really happy with the one I received. I wouldn't say customer service is inexistant like others claim here, they're just not the fastest and still a growth company. The product is the best there is in the ink-tablet universe.

EDIT: I ended up finally getting the reMarkable after hounding the company for quite some time, so the review has gone from 1 star to 3. It is an excellent device. I'd love to give them a 5/5, but their CS team / distribution is pretty bad, so buyer beware. I purchased a reMarkable three weeks ago. I received an email in my junk mail folder saying they had a problem with my address. After sending them my address three separate times, I have received no word regarding whether or not they received my emails, updated my address, or will confirm my order. The order still has not shipped. There is no way to call and communication via takes them several days to respond. So, basically, they took my money, won't respond to me, and won't ship me my product (a refurbished reMarkable 1, which they said they had in stock on their website). It is unacceptable. I can't speak to the product itself, but their customer service is the worst I've dealt with yet.
