Straight off Downtown Oslo's main street lies this chic but cozy bistro with great value 2 and 3-dish specials that change every month. Try the seafood during summer. Friendly staff, great service. Outdoor seating in the courtyard.

Perfect place for small groups of people. I ordered the The Norwegian Entrecôte dish. It was tasteful and can be recommended.

Nice atmosphere little bit hidden place. Ordered a steak medium, have eaten better steak around the world. For the rest clean and peaceful place for dinner with friendly staff.

Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. A bit over-priced, but that's true of most restaurants in downtown Oslo.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and more than happy to help foreigners (like me) figure out local specialties. The service is excellent, unless you’re in a hurry (which you shouldn’t be, you’re having a nice evening out, just enjoy it). One bartender taught us a fair bit about Norwegian gin and aquavit. He could do wonderful things with coffee and a few liquors, too. The waiter we had on the restaurant side knew the menu well—food, beer, and wine—and was similarly friendly and helpful. The ambiance is a laid-back kind of semi-formal. I like it, but it could be an issue if you don’t see well in dim light. Every menu has English translations for those who need them. Oh yeah, and the food’s pretty good, too. Not mind-blowing, but I could order randomly and enjoy my meal every time.
