Excellent!! Went there for lunch, the food, salmon, salmon and more salmon (my kind of heaven) was delicious, the service was efficient and friendly. The place is really nice, with great views of the fjord. They even have a short movie about how the salmon is farmed if you're interested to know more, and someone to explain and ask questions if you want.
The Grilled and smoked salmon are to die for. The place is amazing and the food is yum. If you want to taste the best Norwegian salmon then this is the place to be.
We literally stumbled across this place as we wanted a nibble and the outdoor space caught our eye. Little did we know we’d just tripped over a phenomenal experience. Staff were lovely, we overheard their main waiter (South African Superstar) being incredibly helpful to another table and he quickly treated us to some fantastic info about the restaurant and the passion they have for their food. If you like Salmon, go here. We had the salmon waffle, it was DELICIOUS. We’re going back next week for a full meal and bringing someone for his birthday. A fantastic place and not too expensive either
So far, one of the best salmon experiences ever. I found about this place when I bought Oslo Pass, looking for places to try local dishes based on salmon. It was a perfect match from the first reviews, and the online reservation could be done directly by a link on Google maps. Everything easy, online menu simple to understand, prices affordable for such standard of food. Once we arrived, the service was very kind and a table was reserved for us. The place looks super cool but doesn't make you feel like you need to follow a dressing code - so perfect for tourists like us, getting introduced to starter salmon options. Ordered a set of salmon sashimi the Salmon Trilogy, which offers 3 kinds of smoked salmon salmon tartare. Outstanding flavors, really fresh fish and homemade sauces, including ponzu sauce (shoyu with yuzu, lemon). As a half-Japanese and a big fan of seafood, we couldn't have chosen better options. It ended up being more food than we expected, as it comes with bread as a side dish, so I'd recommend ordering slowly before considering the next option.
