Amazing experience at a TOP hotel everything here looks unique, stylish and pleasant. Dinner was delicious, breakfast was great too. Staffs were courteous beware of parking fees in Oslo. The 'cheapest' option was parking in the hotel basement. 375kr for one day/overnight.

This is simply the best place to stay in Oslo. The rooms are clean, cozy and beautifully designed. The staff is helpful and laid back yet always willing to go the extra mile. Can’t wait to go back!

We were three people who had brunch at the Theif's foodbar yesterday. Unfortunately it was pretty mediocre, and not something I felt was worth the price tag. Why? Primarily the food: The menu looks amazing and I felt like ordering almost all the dishes. My table ended up trying superfood salad, beef slider, Spanish omelette, salmon bagel and the pancakes. Of these none lived up to the expectations. The beef slider was pulled beef, which wasn't specified, and it just wasn't that interesting. The fries were maybe the best part of the dish. The bagel didn't taste like a bagel, but rather like normal bread. It was very pretty, though! The Spanish omelette lacked salt, and was hard to extract from the cast iron pot it was served in. We all made a mess trying to cut a piece and transferring it to our plate. The best part of the pancakes was the bacon, but there was far too little maple syrup. The pancakes are quite fluffy and absorb a lot of syrup so I ended up leaving almost all of my second pancake as there wasn't enough topping and syrup for it. Alone it was dry and boring. My mom liked the superfood salad. The best part of the visit was the comfortable chairs. And the waitresses were attentive and friendly. The music was a bit weird. Could have been more chill to match the brunch vibe, but was pretty upbeat and had more of a lounge vibe.

We stayed at the hotel and wanted to experience the restaurant and a new menu. The choices seemed ok, definitely at the high end. First I got a beer that was warm. I got it exchanged to a glass of white wine at the same time as I ordered a glass of red wine to go with the steak I had ordered. 10 seconds later the meat arrived. One in our party got her soup but had to ask and wait a few minutes before she got a spoon. Her soup was cold and my medium/rare steak was well done. Despite being a bit embarrassed about another complain I told our waiter that it was not acceptable and I got a new, which I ended up eating after everyone was finished with their main course. Needless to say we won't be eating here again.
