100-year-old restaurant, very good Chinese dishes. Photos on the wall included such celebrities as Leon Trotsky and Willy Brandt. According to the owner, both had visited the restaurant often and sat on the same seat every time, back in the old days, apparently in their years of exile. Would love to visit it again in the future!

Legendary pub. Got to play here three times, first two as impromptu sessions with orher guests, and most recent with my band Akmee. What an experience to play improvised music in this room!
Nice beer, but no bar, you order at table
Last place in this part in Oslo where you still find the atmosphere and reasably priced beer and food. Often (at Wedensdays) they have live music. A little bit of the blast from the past, a good old Norwegian 'brown pub' as they are called here in Norway. Many of the guests are regulars from all walks of life, from people who work in the entertainment branch, television, theatre, to people who are just after a reasonably priced good old Norwegian tradisional working mans pub. Well worth a visit if you want to experience how things used to be in the good old days.
This place nearly killed my ex. She's an allergic, and despite their menu specifying which dishes contained which allergens they mixed it up. We confronted them with this and they responded that she should've listed all her allergens before ordering. So, if they almost kill you, it's your fault for trusting their menu. Seriously, hope they get closed down.
Kinda lax atmosphere, beer was good and cheap though
Went here on a Wednesday evening to full house and live music. Enjoyed it.
