Visited this place yesterday, the service and food was nice and quick. The atmosphere inside with candles and low light was worth going. Starters, main courses and deserts were very much delicious having true Indian taste.

Very nice and intimate place, was curious to try the venison tandori dish that we stumbled across on an insta post which was tasty, my wife ordered the chicken tika which she though was good too but not up to par with others we have tasted. Things that didn't give it a full rating was the venison was a bit overdone which made it a bit dry, the tika didnt have much of a strong masala flavour, you get a descent size but there are other places that give you a bigger size for lesser price. Service is wonderfull, usually you have to book in advance as we forgot to do but they managed to find a spot for us. It was my birthday dinner and me and the wife had some alone time from our 2 year old son which was long needed. They came out with a complimentary dessert at the end with sparkling fireworks. All in all it was a great experience. Checked off venison from my bucket list.

Have used the restaurant for 6 years. Ordered our usual via Wolt and when it arrived the order was wrong. Called to complain and was told that they were out of some ingredients so they sent something else and insisted it still would taste the same. One thing is being out of stuff, just call and explain and we could have ordered something else. What you delivered was awful and inedible so we threw it out. Do not use this place for take away - they try to fool their clients with quick fixes then when you complain they tell it will taste the same so just get on with it. Amazingly bad customer service. 30 mins later the manager called and gave me the same explanation that they were out so just put other ingredients in - he offered us a free main course next order. Unfortunately we will not need this. Lost us as customers for sure. Save your time and order from Jewel of India just up the road. Better food and infinitely better service.

No words for professional service provided by the waiters. Outstanding cocktails with Indian Twist and good selection of wine menu. Best butter chicken and grilled lamb tikka we have ever tasted in Oslo.
