The only thing better than the food is the service. Authentic, specific and precise menu. We tasted it all and it delivered. Nice cozy and comfortable location. You get what you pay for and more. Will be back!

Highly recommended for different reasons. First, the food was delicious. Second, decent price for an amazing quality and generous portion of food and and third, the staff are polite and friendly. I am so looking forward to go back there.
Great place for barbecue southern style. Sweet tea and all. No grits though. If you book a table, you have no other option than the family picins. A great selection of smoked meats and sides. Make sure to include the short-ribs upgrade. Best ribs I've had in Europe.
Good food. Big portion of fried chicken. Friendly and attentive service. On the expensive side (for Norway.) Coffee was old, had obviously been standing there a while.
The restaurant does not hold the American standards. Quite the opposite. The lady that met us in the doorway was moody and grumpy. Not welcoming us. She was an obese norwegian girl. We (4) were seated by an american waiter who knew the menu pretty well. He was super friendly and nice but still left us feeling deceived, because we ordered the party platter for approximately 2000 NOK. I could fit this platter inside my gut alone. And he did claim that the amount of food on the dish is more than enough for 4 people. They left us feeling cheated and still hungry. This price is equivalent to 200 euros. He made the order sound like a whole lot of food being deilivered. Here's a picture of it. Id reccomend ordering a burger from burger king if you actually wanna eat something, and not pay a fortune for tasting. The BK staff are also lot more friendly than the obese norwegian girl.
Lovely barbecue place qith lovely service. The food is really good and a lot of it! We specially like the mac and cheese and the coleslaw!
The closest you can get to proper southern food in Oslo! Wait, scratch that this is southern food at its best, not just close but straight up. The biscuits are amazing, the chicken is juicy and crispy, the ribs are beautifully smoked, I can live on the brisket. Do it, go there! It's definitely worth it.
