Extremely bureaucratic and highly racial profiling from them. If you are a foreigner, or worse if you’re black skinned, very good luck dealing with this organization. If you are a foreigner, you are treated as an outsider no matter what you do or which office you walk into or how right or wrong you are , so be careful when you deal with them. Hope never to deal with them, that is the best way to go. If you are coming from any of the airports here as a foreigner (who can easily be spotted from other Norwegians), be very ready and expect to be called for 'random checks' as they call it! Better ask prior to doing anything if you are unsure about what you bring along except the problem is, the answers you get might differ from one person to the next, as is usually the case, but that is the best choice available before you fall into their trap and everything is then blown out of proportion for you partly because of who you may be. I hope you never do get into their trap! If you do, do not expect a good treatment especially if you are a foreigner. Good luck and be safe.
