Extraordinary place with amazing history! Area is beautiful and quiet. Lake nearby the hotel is perfect spot for a picnic during summer time Staff is very nice and helpful! Love those people and for sure will come back! Ps. You can see amazing northern lights from your window in the room

This was an interesting place to stay for sure, I was only here for one night luckily... The practice a policy where they can change the room you have booked and my room for instance was supposed to have two single beds but instead I wound up with a double bed. And they changed the original room (a big and expensive one) to a small and old one. The room I had ordered came with free breakfast, as a small bonus to the lackluster experience. It did not help on the experience that the wifi (which was free) did not reach all the way to the old rooms where I was staying. So to summarize, if I would stay in the area again I would rather stay at the nearby camping (Målselvfossen feriesenter).
The host and hostess were very accommodating. There's a lot of history in that hotel. Makes you feel like you're at your grandparents home. Very cozy. Definitely an older hotel but quaint and cute. The guy who is the chef the bell hop and the maintenance man was very nice...he really does it all.

quite the place! if you want a room... only a room, and a toilet in the hallway with no sink for washing after, then this is your place! I loved it.
Very friendly staff in this comfortable and very cozy hotel. The rooms are all different and take you back in time with authentic details. Dinner is served with local dishes.
Very cosy old style interior. We came here for the restaurant only. Food was really nice. As we were a bit late, we had only three options to eat. But that was no problem. Cook personally asked how the meal was. Should have stayed here for the night instead of Flagstad camping. Also has a pub.
