You can rent a 80-hp boat here and go fishing near the strongest tidal current in the world. Be aware that it's safe to pass under the Saltstraumen bridge only on a massive boat like this and ONLY between tides (they give you a table with time windows).

Verdens stærkeste strøm og nok noget af det bedste havfiskeri man kan opleve. Lejlighederne ligger lige ned til vandet, bådene er i tip top stand(vildt fede) og servicen er i top. Brugte tre fiskedag deroppe og vil derfor til hver en tid anbefale stedet vi fik torsk op til 15 kg, helleflynder op til 30 kg, lidt lubbe og lidt sej! Fantastisk!

Härliga människor, nära till stor rensbod, båtar precis där du bor. Från balkongen ser du stora fiskar som simmar nära land. Härligt.
