cosy rooms, location, kind staff, nice looking lobby (unfortunately out of use for some guests*) - poor wifi connection, - bathrooms need a better cleaning or - lack of smart TV options (youtube, spotify, netflix), - cold lunch looking the same as breakfast, - expired food in breakfast/lunch bags, even after telling about this fact to the receptionist staff, - no fridge in my room (reception staff offered to storage food in the kitchen fridge) I had to spend my quarantine period after entering Norway in Scandic Park Sandefjord. I understand current situation with COVID but I had this impression that in some instances me and few other guest were treated like second class people (despite being tested negative 2 times before and after entering Norway). I always try to obey the sanitary rules but few times I witnessed when "quarantine people" were reminded by some sort of a hotel sheriff to wear masks properly while other guests (Norwegians?) could wander around without masks or *)sit and chat in the lobby without any problem. I am sorry to say but this is the worst hotel I have ever experienced in Norway:(

This is a big hotel. The first thing i notice when we enter the room is the floor is not been vaccum, hair and dust on the foor and that cotact lens as you can see in the picture. When i check the toilet, hair on the floor too, shower floor is wet. And toilet is smelly , pee smell itS like you're in a dirty public toilet smell. You can see the wall with pee i think thats what makes it worst smell. Finger prints on the mirror and soap dispenser is not been clean. We complain to the reception, and they sent housekeeping and clean some in toilet atleast the pee smell was gone.(it was the next day after we checked-in they sent us housekeeping.) But the breakfast is good. I still want to stay in this hotel with much cleaner room though.

We were staying there during our quarantine. Room size was ok, it was cold inside and the heater was barely doing anything, bathroom had heated tiles but the showerhead was leaking and the stream was very weak. We had food delivered by the hotel but half of the time we received only portion for one person, ( so for example 2x breakfast 1x lunch 1x dinner and the next day its 1x breakfast 1x lunch 2x dinner etc, some days it was all ok, some days it was all for one person) This occured even after we reported it at reception. During quarantine the rooms are never cleaned and you can not do any laundry so better bring lots of clothes or wash them in the sink. Food is delivered without plates so there is a lot of crumbs on the floor after a few days of staying there and no way for you to clean it up. There was a fake fire alarm once because something burned in the kitchen and it caused all the people who were on quarantine to swarm onto the corridors and have close contact with each other. Internet was ok, reception was friendly. Most of these issues seem to be connected with it being a quarantine hotel for now (with the big exception of the rooms being cold and the bathroom problems)

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and relatively big, staff is friendly, breakfast is very fine; the have a breakfast buffet. The only downside is parking. Parking near the hotel is 250Dk (25,-) per night. If you want to park for less money you'll have to walk a few hundred metres. It won't kill you, but this could be better.

It is a beautiful place right next to the fjord and the big park. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is amazing selection of delicates from Norway, one of the best ones I have ever seen. There is also a gym and a pool available down stairs. Try to get a room from the upper levels!
