What an amazing place! I loved the location, the buildings the view and above all the staff. All of them doing a tiny bit extra to make me feel home. The food was also lovely! I hope to be back! Bonus for beeing able to see the midnight sun from my tiny room window!

Amazing place with clumsy service during the dinner and payment at the end. Charged wronge twice and it took them nearly half an hour to fix it with just sorry at the end. But amazingly beautiful place with beautiful views. Polite and friendly staff. The moose/rain deer was very nice. Pasta too creamy.

Amazing experience at this magical place! I stayed four days in November, it’s winter so very quiet. Rooms of the sea view apartment was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Great heating super cozy alright its sub zero outside. Was very lucky to see the norther light directly from my window& balcony ; great view at the light house too, which was only hundred meters away. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

What a lovely resort! I regretted that I didn’t stay here, although a lovely lunch still gave me the chance to visit this lovely place. The staffs are extra friendly and the restaurant is not bad, at all.

Probably the best place to stay in Senja! I have been traveling around beautiful Senja for 4 days and the last night I stayed at this amazing resort. I checked up several places to stay and found this one to be the very best! First of all, the location is incredible. Take a look at my attached photos and you will understand! If you are going to visit Senja – one of the most scenic and beautiful area in my country – I will recommend you to stay at this place at least for one night! From this gem of a place it is easy to reach the most scenic places and hiking trails. My room (no 205) was a standard “mini room” with a private bathroom, like a hotel room. Good value for money! (NOK 1045). There was no view from the room, but it was spotlessly cleaned and OK for a short stay. I try the “Boknafish” dish for dinner in the restaurant and it was probably the best fish dish I have ever tasted, and the service was great. If you are going to hunt the northern lights at Senja this must be the perfect place to stay! There is a small cabin (the “lighthouse”) with great view toward north where you can stay and wait for the right moment to go outside and take the magic shot. I have spent hours freezing to death outside Tromsø and in Lofoten waiting for “the lady” and would love to stay here for my next northern light hunting! Breakfast was nothing special, but basic Norwegian hotel standard. In summary, Hamn resort is a very well-run resort and I will highly recommend this place! Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.

Excellent hotel made up of Rorbus scattered along the coast of a tiny island. The location is perfect to witness the midnight sun during summer, with a backdrop of mountains and small islands rising up from the sea. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, though remember to bring a sleeping mask since the curtains don’t block sunlight at all! The restaurant is superlative, and even breakfast was delicious (though a bit pricey for Norwegian standards). Overall it's an excellent place to stay in Senja.
