This was one of the best meals i had in Norway! The location, the view, the people, everything was one point. I have nothing to complain about. The food was great the burger was the best i had in years, one thing to mention is that the chicken salad was my least favourite of the dishes. Great drinks and a wide variety. 10/10 would recommend to everyone with an appetite.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Skagen. We had a set meal of 5 dishes for dinner. It's kind of like tapas, which suited us very well as we didn't want a heavy dinner and we love variety. Each and every dish was both pleasing to the eye and tongue. I love the use of colours and flowers in presenting the dishes. You can taste the original flavour of the key ingredient in each dish. The fish, "lysing" - a type of cod fish, was simply delicious. I had the earl grey ice-cream which is a very interesting taste to me. As my husband has an allergy to peanuts, the restaurant was very kind to change the dessert to creme brulee for him.
Skagen has a new concept, with dishes for 99kr. Recommended three dishes per person. They also have 5- course menu for 450kr. We were six and had a great evening. Wonderful local cuisine and a great blending of flavours. William was a very attentive waiter. They also have great music, check out Vinkontoret OldSchool (Post-punkish) on Spotify.
Had a very nice set meal. Just be prepared for a large bill at the end of the night.
We had dinner here - the salmon and halibut dishes with a locally brewed American IPA and white wine. We sat inside which I'd definitely recommend, the interior is pared back which allows the original brick and woodwork to shine. Both meals were delicious, the potatoes on the halibut being overcooked was the only negative, and they were good value from a UK perspective. The locally brewed beer was also great, and we would definitely recommend Skagen for dinner.

We had dinner there 3 times. Really enjoyed the outside area and the food was great! Local beers are awesome especially the IPA. Being vegan the menu had very tasty options
