Cool ferry experience. Drive your car onboard and enjoy refreshments on deck for the duration of the ride. I think it was 70 per car. Very scenic. We rode it en route to Preikestolen from Stavanger. A lot nicer than trying to drive the entire distance!

If you have a huge appetite (and bank balance) the epic 5/6 course taster menu is probably fantastic. I just had the catch of the day: baked cod, and it was stunningly good.
Very efficiently organized ferry experience. We paid about 250 nok for the car and two people from Stavanger to Tau. Money is collected during the ferry ride so you do not have to bother getting tickets beforehand. Ferry is well equipped with a small restaurant, washrooms etc.

Quick ferry to Tau. On schedule and affordable. Either get tickets from outside or inside the ferry .
Nice place where \Tau-ferjå\ and boats to Ryfylke go from. Kolumbus customer centre here,so one can get help with tickets a.s.o.
A nice place to take a walk. You can take the cruise to travel to pulpit rock. I suggest people to look into this option while travelling around in stavanger.
