Massive hotel with excellent accommodative and conference solutions. The staff serve you with an absolutely great sense of professionality. With its close proximity to the airport, this hotel is ideal for those of us on business trips, cross-company meetings and the like. If you are a tourist on sightseeing I'd say you are in the wrong place unless you need a place to stay before or after the flight for the night.
This congress center does not offer a free shuttle but to the airport. And the regular hotel shuttle will set you back 2x70 NOK for a round trip. And it doesn't even stop in front of the Congress Hall. You have to walk, so be sure to bring your umbrella. Last by not least, they do not have a decent restaurant area or kitchen, so don't raise your lunch expectations.
Massive hotel, fairly basic accommodations and not really close to anything. Easy to get there by bus and a lot cheaper than a taxi from the airport. Breakfast was included and was acceptable for one day. Rooms were in okay shape but not particularly high quality and the spare bed was not very comfortable.
