Must visit if you are in tromsø. Recommend checking always at the website to make sure it is open and check the weather forecast (if it is cloudy/windy/snowy you won’t have the best experience). Wear warm clothes and enjoy it! Nice observatory and coffee shop.

I final took theb cable car ,after many visits to Tromso over the years After a museum and wondering around the fantastic city that is Tromso ,it was time to visit the top , so only a few other people were around and the early evening which was clear gave far and epic views... At about 7 return ticket it is very much worth it at any point. A lovely walk past the Artic church and to see this side of the bridge ... Around 30minutes or so walk over the bridge and to find the cable car start is nestled in a built up area surrounded by some beautiful homes ... Not a long journey up but when up on the viewing platform, a fantastic view of the the city ,surrounding area and beyond.. Then there is an excellent cafe, with a good selection of hot /cold sweet or savoury drinks and food Then to enjoy, you can sit by widows over looking this beautiful city and surroundings Worth it my only advice is try to kot go when busy ,to be enjoyed in a steady pace

Summary: Great spot, with delicious food, a bar, coffee, tea and hot chocolate options, hiking options. Spend a day or two here. You can spend an entire day here and that still would not be enough. The cable car operates on a schedule which works out well, so make sure to plan accordingly. You can also hike to the top and then take the cable car down the mountain or vice versa. Once at the top, you can eat at the restaurant, they have amazing food options, traditional food items, and more. The hot chocolate is especially good.... Along with their traditional Norwegian pancakes. I also tried the Deer Soup and it was good as well. At the top of the cable car, you have an amazing view of the city - at night and during the day..... The views are different at different times of day, so if you can come at different times, or get there in the early afternoon and stay until the night. There are plenty of things to do here, so time really does fly here. You can hike, eat, enjoy the views, or simply relax and enjoy.

The view is absolutely stunning and if you somehow manage to reach a top with an overview in Norway you cannot regret it especially in an area with fjords like here. The price is fine and if you spent some time up there it's definitely worth the money! At the top you can of course walk inside and outside the building, have a cup of tea or you can walk around by yourself to any place you want. This is a bit limited in the winter (without snowshoes) but there are always some paths you can go and find a place to enjoy the view and nature.

Great views from the top. Saw the Northern lights by reviving a notification for when they would be visible by using a free app. Good cafe to get a hot drink to warm up while enjoying the views! Fantastic experience!

The view above was magnificent, amazing ! However, I recommended to take a look at forecast before, especially in winter, since it could be quite cloudy on the mountain and the view will be quite restricted. Wear warm warm clothes in winter.
