Alfheim Stadion is football stadium located in Tromsø, Norway and home of Eliteserien side Tromsø IL. Alfheim has a seating capacity of 6,801 and artificial turf. It is the second northernmost stadium to have been used in European football, after the Finnmarkshallen, which is located 170 km (106 miles) to the northeast in Alta, Norway, and is home to Alta IF.

Nice stadium, although some areas are in need of improvement.
I went to the stadium to buy Fan articles (exhausting walk btw). All people there were very friendly and helpful. I got a short tour through the stadium and the VIP section. Pretty cool! The price for the Jersey was even better at the Fan Shop than in the city tourist shops. I was also allowed to use the bathroom, which were very clean. Therefore the only logical consequence: 5 stars!
Watching a football match above the Arctic Circle is a sureal experience! Also the gound is close to the town center where there are lots of pubs and the locals are really friendly too. It is a bit of a shame that there are no stands behind the goals as that dose effect the atmosphere slightly but this is still one of the most unique football experiences on earth.
I like it here, when the weather is good.
