Good food, great service and nice atmosphere. The only thing that takes away a star is a slightly limited selection, and the presentation is a bit simple. None of these are big issues, and they are more of a adaptation to the market I guess. Above average in Norway - definitely. My favourite sushi place in Trondheim, and the salmon tartar is not to be missed!

The sushi is good, and the fixed price buffet on Sunday's give good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it's a nice atmosphere for eating. Located in the middle of town, it's easy to get to.
when you have a dedicated sushi restaurant it is essential that you know how to prepare rice they way it should. Kyoto apparently doesn't know how. Dry and hard without any taste. you should also be able to cut tuna the right way and when you market a maki roll as a spicy tuna, it should be spicy. the "crunchy" rolls lacked all crunchiness, and just tasting fat from the fryer. ponzu sauce tasted like a very thin say sauce with some sugar added. the only thing saving this review from being a 1-star is the price which is pretty good.

Min favorittplass for sushi i Trondheim. Restauranten er ikke for stor, så det blir passe intimt. De ansatte er hyggelige og hører på kundens ønsker. Har matallergi og blir alltid tatt godt hånd om her, har opplevd at mine ønsker ikke blir ivaretatt på et par andre sushiplasser i byen. Lokalet ligger veldig sentralt, d er rent og lyst, spesielt koslig er det i kjelleren. Råvarene har alltid vært bra. Kyoto har gode lønsjtilbud og man kan også bestille for å ta med hjem. Anbefaler virkelig.
Kyoto brukte å være en av de beste i Trondheim, men i det siste har de tapt seg på både pris og smak. Hva har skjedd her Kyoto? Før har dere gode sauser, nå virker det som dere benytter en billig variant, mens prisen på maten deres har gått opp... ikke bra :( Ellers holder maten deres en god standard, men jeg savner "tidligere" Kyoto.
